Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Leadership Training Manager to create an experiential learning environment for leaders, delivering in-person and virtual courses and hosting events that build core leadership skills aligned with company values.

The role involves collaboration with Learning Design & Development and other stakeholders to refine training materials, manage schedules, and lead special projects that advance leadership capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Prior retail operations and leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and present information to various groups within the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented, and results driven with a sense of urgency.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to learn new information and processes quickly.

• Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles.

• Skilled at using technology platforms (computers, tablets, mobile devices, etc.).
• At least 3 years prior experience in related field is a plus (Training and Development, Leadership & Organizational development, Human Resources).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates instructor-led leadership and business-related training for Home Depot leaders by hosting development events and delivering engaging in-person and virtual courses.
• Performs administrative duties including calendar planning, event and classroom preparation, content review, agenda creation, attendance and roster management, and partner communications.
• Partners with Learning Design & Development, Learning Strategy, peer groups, and cross-functional subject matter experts to maintain and enhance training materials and content.
• Participates in special projects, including serving as project lead, to support evolving business and learning initiatives.
