Job summary

NYCHA is seeking a Leadership Trainer to plan, coordinate, and execute leadership and professional development programs for NYCHA employees. You will work with an instructional design team to create curricula and trainer guides, then deliver engaging sessions on leadership, teamwork, and well-being.

You will assess needs, tailor solutions, and measure program impact while coaching leaders across the organization and coordinating with multiple departments to align with NYCHA goals.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience or equivalent.
• High school graduation and six years of community work experience or equivalent.
• All candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in the above items.

Responsibilities

• Deliver leadership training and professional development programs aligned with NYCHA goals.
• Assist with design and development of training manuals and trainer guides with instructional design team.
• Facilitate engaging sessions on leadership, team building, conflict resolution, and self-care.
• Assess training needs via surveys or focus groups and create customized solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
• Provide coaching to leaders at all levels within NYCHA.
• Collaborate with departments to meet organizational training needs.
• Stay current with leadership development trends and best practices.
• Schedule classes using the Cornerstone Learning Management System.
