Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Inc. is seeking a Leader-in-Training (LIT) in Oakland Park, FL. This developmental program prepares team members to lead store operations by closely working with the Team Leader and District Manager to ensure strong performance.

Completion targets are six months with progression toward Assistant Store Leader or Store Leader roles. The program emphasizes core values, hands-on training, and participation in store resets, remodels, and events, with opportunities to travel

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months of retail leadership experience or completion of 2 years of education in Business Management or related field with equivalent experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ABC’s core values with guests and team members.
• Complete all training within the LIT program, targeting completion in 6 months or less.
• Attend LIT training sessions and meetings as scheduled.
• Travel to other stores as planned by the District Manager or LIT Program Manager.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and enhance store operations.
• Help ensure consistent visual and operational merchandising standards.
• Develop knowledge in inventory control, replenishment, and merchandising.
• Perform key management tasks such as opening/closing the store, cash control, and receiving shipments.
• Build supervisory skills including delegation, scheduling, training, performance management, and discipline.
• Support company-wide initiatives such as resets, remodels, new store openings, and in-store events.
