Job summary

University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development is maintaining a pool of instructors for Teaching Specialist and Lecturer positions in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD). Selected applicants are invited to interview when openings arise, with appointments made per course and contingent on enrollment targets.

These roles are temporary, non-tenured, academic professional or administrative positions, offered semester by semester, with

Qualifications

• Master's degree relevant to the teaching assignment.
• Doctorate or terminal degree relevant to the teaching assignment.
• Previous teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach a course per semester at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Prepare course materials including syllabus and grading rubrics.
• Grade exams, papers, presentations and submit grades.
• Respond to student inquiries and advise as needed.
