Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Silicon Valley Chapter is seeking a passionate Leadership (Mentoring) Instructor to run after-school programs for grades 1–6 and 7–8 in Visalia, CA. Job description

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of leaders? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Leadership (Mentoring) Instructor to lead engaging after-school programs that help students develop confidence, communication, teamwork, and positive decision-making skills.

As the instructor, you will create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can strengthen leadership abilities through interactive activities, group discussions, team-building exercises, community-focused projects, and hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring youth, serving as a positive role model, and helping students build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Program Schedule
Grades 1-6
  • Dates: August 13, 2026 - September 18, 2026
  • Days: Monday - Friday
  • Time: 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Grades 7-8
  • Dates: August 13, 2026 - September 18, 2026
  • Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Time: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Responsibilities
