Job summary

University of Northern Colorado seeks an Associate Director of Development to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership annual giving donors within a diverse portfolio. The position reports to the Executive Director of Gift Planning within the centralized Development team and requires collaboration with university administration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two or more years of fundraising experience or equivalent in sales/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of 150-200 leadership annual giving donors and prospects ($1,000–$24,999).
• Meets fundraising performance metrics with supervisor each year.
• Develops communication strategies to contact prospects and secure 1:1 visits.
