Job summary

The Vitality Leadership Systems Coordinator position supports churchwide vocational discernment, recruitment, and leadership development for emerging leaders in church planting and revitalization. It coordinates the Pipelines of Formation, linking discernment with formation, mentorship, and practical experiences guiding leaders from discernment to seminary and church planting curacies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Three to five years of experience in ministry leadership, vocational discernment, theological education, leadership development, church planting, program coordination, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work with diocesan leaders, seminaries, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vocational discernment, recruitment, and leadership formation efforts across church planting and revitalization initiatives.
• Oversee the Pipelines of Formation from discernment through formation to church planting curacies.
• Build and sustain relationships with bishops, dioceses, and ministry partners to align leadership development with church priorities.
• Coordinate pilots, assessments, and learning activities to improve recruitment and formation practices.
• Travel as needed to support diocesan and churchwide activities.
