Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Learning and Development Manager to lead a team of Trainers and deliver leadership development programs across Ford Credit. You will collaborate with HR, SMEs, and instructional design partners to ensure engaging, high-quality training that supports business operations.

This role focuses on facilitation excellence, coaching, and program management, shaping leadership capabilities, assessing needs, piloting new programs, and guiding delivery to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years with Master’s or 8 years with Bachelor’s in L&D/leadership.
• 5+ years of team management in a large organization.
• Expert facilitation and ability to coach facilitators.
• Experience with a variety of learning delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Trainers and coordinate with others to deliver engaging, high-quality training experiences that drive increased team and employee performance and engagement, focusing on Ford Credit business operations.
• Manage delivery schedules and facilitator assignments, monitor workload, readiness, and trends; act as main L&D contact for delivery matters.
• Own leadership learning experiences designed to prepare employees to lead, grow, and optimize the business; collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• Assess leadership development needs via interviews, surveys, and data analysis; translate findings into development solutions with Talent team.
• Pilot and deliver new enterprise-wide learning programs; provide feedback to design partners and monitor trainee progress and training effectiveness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise-wide leadership solutions that drive strategic goals and guide leaders on L&D issues.
• Coordinate with Trainers and leaders for schedule implementation, ensuring compliance and consistency in delivery.
• Develop relationships with HR, Corporate L&D, and stakeholders to be seen as the leadership development and training delivery expert.
