Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is recruiting a Leadership Development Instructor/Subcontractor to train junior leaders for the Indiana Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion. The role combines virtual and in-person sessions, curriculum development, assessments, and reporting to strengthen leadership pipelines and teamwork.

The position requires strong instructional and communication skills, plus the ability to travel for in-person sessions and quarterly programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of civilian or military teaching experience preferred.
• Strong instructional, presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and training needs assessments.
• Experience conducting interactive virtual and classroom training.
• Knowledge of leadership development, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, motivation, communication, and team performance.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured leadership training for junior leaders within the Battalion.
• Conduct monthly virtual leadership training sessions.
• Conduct quarterly half-day, in-person leadership sessions.
• Conduct a 2-day in-person leadership course each quarter.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, presentations, workbooks, assessments, and other materials.
• Provide training materials in physical and digital formats.
• Lead interactive workshops, role-plays, case studies, and mentorship sessions.
• Interview personnel to identify training needs and leadership challenges.
• Support market analysis of Indiana recruiting environment and workforce trends.
