Job summary

Affirms is remote-first and focused on developing leaders from first-time managers through ongoing growth. The Leadership Development Manager, Emerging and New Leaders, will own the end-to-end journey, combining design, insights, and business needs to scale leadership capability across a remote workforce.

The role emphasizes hands-on creation, experimentation, and collaboration with People, Talent Acquisition, and Learning teams to deliver measurable leadership impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in leadership development, learning and development, talent management, or related field.
• Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs at scale for new or first-time people leaders.
• Strong learning and experience design skills blending live learning and digital resources.
• Product-oriented approach to learning and development with audience insights and data.
• Experience building learning communities and peer networks.
• Integrating leadership assessments and coaching into development programs.
• Strong program management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Creative, resourceful problem-solver who experiments and learns.
• Comfort with data and emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the new-leader experience: design, deliver, and improve leadership development programs for aspiring and new leaders.
• Build learning journeys that meet leaders where they are through transitions and coaching.
• Design scalable, engaging experiences with workshops, peer learning, and hands-on practice.
• Create opportunities for leaders to learn together and share feedback.
• Translate leadership expectations into practical tools and experiences and measure impact.
• Partner with People Team to align development with hiring, onboarding, and growth.
• Experiment, learn, and continuously improve programs using data.
