Job summary

MKC seeks a Professional Development Associate to grow into a role across sales, management, or staff functions. You will rotate through agronomy sales, operations, grain marketing, crop insurance, grain handling, energy sales, and home office functions, with training classes provided.

The program emphasizes learning to deliver accurate and timely customer service, develop operational skills, and understand company practices.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of corn, wheat, beans, milo and sunflowers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer and data entry skills.
• Be able to obtain and retain a class 7B grain fumigation license.
• Obtain and retain a class A CDL with Haz Mat endorsement.
• Be able to obtain and retain a class 1A certificate.

Responsibilities

• Learn fertilizer and chemical warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Learn to receive and ship grain and maintain elevator quality.
• Develop delivery schedules to ensure timely customer service.
• Greet customers, assist loading/unloading, and resolve problems.
• Rotate through departments including accounting, HR and operations at the corporate office.
