Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking Assistant Directors of Development to focus on leadership annual giving. They will broaden the community of donor support by establishing and managing relationships with donors, alumni, volunteers, and grateful patients, soliciting leadership-level annual gifts and managing a defined leadership annual giving portfolio.

These roles require travel, including two overnight trips per month and regular in-state travel, with expenses managed within university

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of professional fundraising experience or transferable experience (managing relationships with measurable output, making calls, appointments, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio activity to meet qualifications, meetings, solicitations, commitments, and revenue goals.
• Plan travel and donor engagement schedules to support leadership annual gifts.
• Develop and execute prospect-specific cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans.
• Communicate progress, visit outcomes, solicitation status, and stewardship needs to Advancement partners.
