Job summary

The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, is seeking multiple Assistant Directors of Development in Leadership Annual Giving. You will manage a leadership annual giving portfolio, cultivate and solicit leadership gifts, and travel to engage donors while tracking progress within Advancement guidelines.

Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills are required to excel in a collaborative environment across Advancement, the university, and the Wexner Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of professional fundraising experience or transferable experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages a defined leadership annual giving portfolio and is responsible for donor discovery, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, documentation, and follow-up activity to meet fundraising goals.
• Develops and executes prospect-specific cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for assigned leadership annual giving prospects, including travel and engagement activities.
• Creates and maintains relationships with colleagues across Advancement, the university, and the Wexner Medical Center to support donor discovery and referrals.
