Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Leader to execute daily operations, coach team members, and uphold our culture and service standards. The role focuses on ensuring efficient restaurant operations and serving guests with urgency and care.

Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with shifts that may include weekends and long hours. Training and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to guests' needs.
• Train new hires, set the tone for a shift, and model appropriate behavior.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player and lead shifts as needed.
• Manage opening/closing tasks, drawers, and end-of-day procedures.
• Communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking.

A Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ideal candidate availability is 11am-11pm, with expected shifts being a mixture of 11-8's and 2-closes
• Must work 3 Saturdays per month at minimum
• Consistency and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
• Strong commitment to superior customer service
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is preferred.
