Job summary

Firefly Supported Living & Employment Services in Springfield, MO, seeks a Supported Employment Manager to lead employment service programs, drive quality outcomes, and expand client independence.

You will mentor staff, manage referrals and partnerships, oversee program operations, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance while building a compassionate, mission-driven team. This role emphasizes strategic influence and hands-on leadership in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or higher in Human Services, Social Services, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in employment services or social services desired.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support employment service programs to help individuals achieve successful employment, independence, and quality-of-life outcomes.
• Develop and mentor team members through coaching, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, community partners, employers, stakeholders, and funding agencies.
• Oversee client services, referrals, team assignments, and program operations to ensure timely, effective service delivery.
• Monitor employment outcomes, placement rates, retention rates, client satisfaction, and program performance metrics.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, screen applicants, interview candidates, hire staff, and maintain personnel records.
