Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC is seeking a Lead Security Architect to design and oversee enterprise security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles. You will bridge engineering and risk management, ensuring secure by design systems for federal and commercial customers.

You will drive RMF processes, engage with executives, manage lifecycle security requirements and guide vendor evaluations. A strong track record in defense standards and PKI/SAML/OAuth is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional cybersecurity experience
• 5+ years in security architecture or senior technical role
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance
• CISSP, GSEA or GDSA certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evaluation of enterprise security architectures with Zero Trust principles.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between enterprise architects and systems security engineers.
• Translate operational needs into detailed technical requirements and specifications.
• Contribute to RMF lifecycle plans and operational procedures.
• Manage security requirements across the acquisition lifecycle and evaluate vendor security designs.
• Perform security reviews and design modeling to identify gaps and develop risk plans.
• Define security boundaries and document protection needs for information systems and networks.
• Advise senior leadership on design concepts, costs and risk implications.
