Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced Deviation & Yield Tail Yield Analysis Engineer to lead investigations into yield loss mechanisms and to drive corrective actions across high-volume manufacturing. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor physics, transistor operation, scaling limitations, reliability fundamentals, and CMOS characterization methods
• 7+ years of experience using data analysis tools such as JMP, Python, or similar software
• Demonstrated experience performing data-driven yield analysis and root cause investigations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment

Responsabilités

• Monitor yield performance and identify deviations, tail losses, and failure signatures across lot, wafer, die, bitmap, and parametric analyses
• Lead MBPS and root cause investigations using hypothesis-driven analysis and fault trees to verify physical root causes
• Drive defect characterization and failure analysis by correlating electrical signatures, inspections, and yield-loss mechanisms
• Partner with Process Integration, Process Engineering, RDA, Quality, Manufacturing, and Failure Analysis teams to implement corrective actions
• Develop and deploy analytics, dashboards, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to improve RCA efficiency and yield performance
