Job summary

Rigaku Americas Holding, Inc. is seeking an X-ray Applications Scientist to support advanced X-ray imaging metrology products in the Oregon area.

This role requires up to 20% travel for on-site customer applications support and training and will involve collaboration with Service, Sales, Marketing, and product development teams. You will lead alpha/beta deployments, assist customers with wafer and panel inspections, and coordinate across US and Japan teams to drive HW/SW improvements.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Solid State, or related field.
• Minimum of three years as an applications scientist/engineer in semiconductor metrology or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead alpha/beta tool deployments and early customer evaluations.
• Provide applications support for AXI tools and troubleshoot on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with US and Japan teams for HW/SW improvements.
• Define new application spaces for AXI technology and prepare training materials.
• Write technical docs and facilitate customer demonstrations.
