Job summary

Raytheon in Woburn, MA seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars team. You will support X-Band radar technology, verify requirements, and coordinate with customers to meet milestones.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, strong MATLAB/Python/C/C++, Linux/Unix, and DOORS experience in systems integration and verification. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with Doors and systems integration, test, and/or verification.
• Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirements verification task and scope planning, creating milestones, scheduling/managing competing task priorities, and customer presentations.
• Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, software development, and work with internal and external customers.
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
• Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers
