Qualifications

• One year of Registered Nurse experience and one year direct work experience with wound care patients.
• Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid and unrestricted RN license in any U.S. State or Territory.

Responsibilities

• Initiates assessment, planning and implementation of care for ostomy, wound, fistula, and pressure ulcer patients.
• Provides comprehensive care and teaching to patients and families on supplies and equipment for ostomy and wound care.
• Develops standards of care and assists in procedures, protocols and policies for wound/ostomy care.
• Manages the Wound Clinic operations and program development with records and statistics.
• Leads nursing practices to promote quality improvement and desirable patient outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
