Job summary

Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc. is seeking a Wound Care/Ostomy Registered Nurse in the Surgical Clinic to deliver comprehensive wound and ostomy care to patients in a busy clinic setting.

You will lead care plans, educate patients and families, ensure CMS and accreditation readiness, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires RN license, BLS, CWCN certification, and experience with ostomy/wound patients.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience with wound care patients.
• Valid RN license in any U.S. state or territory.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• CWCN certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for ostomy and wound patients, including ulcers and fistulas.
• Provide teaching on supplies, equipment, and ostomy/wound management.
• Develop and evaluate standards of care and procedures.
• Lead quality improvement efforts in wound/ostomy care.
• Manage clinic operations and maintain records and CMS training.
