Job summary
Corewell Health seeks a Wound Clinician to support acute care patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs at the Dearborn site. Responsibilities include direct patient care, clinical consultation, education, and participation in related committees.
Qualified candidates hold a BSN, Michigan RN license, and a CWON certification is preferred. This part-time role involves day shifts and requires strong nursing assessment and educational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Current Michigan RN license required.
- WOCN CWON certification preferred.
- Two to four years of relevant nursing experience.
- BLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to direct or deliver care to patients with WOC needs.
- Provides wound/skin and ostomy care and education to patients and staff.
- Participates in committees or task forces related to wound, ostomy, and continence issues.
- Provides consultation for altered skin integrity and continence disorders to develop care plans.
- Maintains current knowledge and participates in continuing education and administrative duties.
