Job summary

The South Shore Community Church is seeking a Creative Arts Pastor to oversee worship, production, and creative elements of weekend services. You will lead and develop a passionate worship team, coordinate song selection, rehearsals, and tech aspects to create environments where people encounter Jesus.

As a pastoral leader you will model spiritual maturity, shepherd volunteers, and partner with the Lead Pastor to align worship with the church mission, vision, and values, while building healthy

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and shepherding abilities with a heart for worship
• Commitment to the church's vision, mission and values
• Proven ability to train and develop volunteers and teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Theological alignment with South Shore on core matters
• College degree or commensurate experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee worship, production, and creative elements of services.
• Serve as a pastoral leader: model spiritual maturity and shepherd those entrusted to their care.
• Build healthy volunteer teams and establish clear expectations and processes across worship and production.
• Oversee production and creative service content and tech aspects (sound, lighting, video, ProPresenter).
• Lead song selection, rehearsals, and pipeline development for future worship and tech leaders.
• Coordinate with Lead Pastor to align worship and creative elements with the message and mission.
