Job summary

Energy Job Shop seeks an experienced Rig Operator in Rock Springs, WY to safely run workover rigs and oversee rig crew operations. The role requires 2+ years of Derrick/Rig Hand experience and strong leadership and communication. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Candidates should have a safety-focused mindset and a valid driving record; CDL is preferred but not required. Opportunities for advancement exist within the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Derrick/Rig Hand experience.
• Recommendation from Supervisor and District Manager.
• Able to work extended or unscheduled hours, including out-of-town travel.
• Clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Strong knowledge of rig operations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely run workover rigs and oversee rig crew operations.
• Lead and train crew members as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors for rig safety and efficiency.
• Be prepared for travel and extended shifts.
