Job summary

ND Energy is seeking a Workover Rig Foreman to lead our rig fleet, provide field leadership, training, and operational support. The role ensures rigs and equipment are prepared for safe, efficient operations while upholding company standards, customer requirements, and safe work practices.

You will travel across locations, coach supervisors and crews, assist with staffing and workforce planning, oversee readiness, inspections, and documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and support field employees professionally.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, participate in the random testing pool, and pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the rig fleet to provide field leadership, training, and operational support.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, customer requirements, and documentation standards.
• Coach and support rig supervisors and crews while reinforcing accountability, professionalism, and performance expectations.
• Assist with staffing coverage, employee development, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Oversee rig readiness, equipment movement, inspections, and yard coordination.
• Review reports, tickets, inspections, and operational records for accuracy and timely completion.
• Identify operational concerns, support corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement.
