Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Workday Lead to manage the HRIS/Workday platform, including security, reporting, and integrations. You will own release management, data integrity, and cross-module initiatives to support a multi-entity workforce.

You will lead the HRIS team, coordinate with IT, and supervise analysts and external partners to deliver annual benefits open enrollment and critical changes. This is a high-visibility role requiring governance and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of Workday experience with at least one full deployment through go-live and stabilization.
• Hands-on Workday configuration in a production tenant, depth in Core HCM — business processes, security, calculated fields, custom reports, and EIBs.
• Experience operating a Workday tenant within an organization, not just implementation consulting.
• Direct people management of HRIS or technical analysts, including work assignment and performance management.
• Hands-on Workday security administration in a production tenant, able to design and defend a security model.
• Ownership of Workday release management including impact assessment, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
• Integration oversight with fluency in EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio to scope, direct, test, and reject partner work.

Responsibilities

• Lead Walbec Group's HRIS team and run the Workday platform day to day.
• Serve as Platform Administrator and approve day-to-day production changes.
• Enforce sandbox-first protocols, intake controls, documentation, testing, and downstream validation.
• Sign off on semi-annual Workday releases after impact assessment and regression testing.
• Maintain governance documentation, change logs, and configuration decision records.
• Configure Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, custom reports, and EIBs.
• Lead cross-module, analytical, and strategic reporting.
• Own tenant-wide data integrity and data quality remediation planning.
• Oversee the Workday-to-CMiC payroll interface and production integration portfolio.
