Job summary

OpenKyber is seeking a Lead Workday Financials Engineer in Columbus, OH to join our enterprise finance IT team. This hands-on role focuses on engineering integrations and custom Workday solutions using Extend, Studio, and REST/SOAP APIs to support GL, Expense, and S2P processes.

You will lead technical delivery, design and implement integrations, and mentor others while remaining hands-on in code and architecture within a large Finance organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday technical development experience.
• Strong experience coding in Workday Extend.
• Advanced experience with Workday integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Proven experience supporting Workday Financial Management (GL, Expense, S2P).
• Proficiency with Studio, Orchestrate, XML, JSON, XSLT.
• Ability to lead technical delivery in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support complex Workday integrations.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Workday Extend.
• Build and support integrations between Workday Financials and external systems.
• Perform data transformations using XML, JSON, XSLT.
• Provide technical engineering support across Workday Financial Management.
• Act as a technical lead for Workday integrations while remaining hands-on.
• Support the full development lifecycle from design to production.
• Maintain technical documentation and integration specs.
