Job summary

Atrium client seeks an experienced Women’s Technical Designer – Knits & Sweaters to lead tech packs, fittings, and sample reviews for knitwear collections. Strong background in sweaters, cut-and-sew knits, or both is required to ensure fit, construction, and quality.

This role collaborates with Design, Production, and vendors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Excel and PLM systems, plus exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical design experience in apparel/fashion.
• Proficiency in sweaters and knits, cut-and-sew knowledge.
• Experience developing complete tech packs and conducting fittings.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complete technical packages for women’s sweaters and knitwear.
• Conduct fit sessions and provide clear comments for sample corrections.
• Measure and evaluate samples for fit, construction, quality, and specs.
• Collaborate with Design and Production to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate with vendors daily regarding garment specifications and sample development.
• Ensure garments meet brand specs, quality expectations, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout development.
