Job summary

Panera LLC in Midlothian, VA is hiring a Team Manager in Training to lead shifts, train and coach staff, and drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced bakery-cafe.

You will mentor team members, participate in interviews, and uphold food safety standards while contributing to a culture of warmth, belonging, and growth at Panera. This role requires flexibility to cover nights and weekends and a strong commitment to Panera's values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Background check required.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that foster long-term guest loyalty.
• Lead, manage and develop team members through coaching and motivation to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience.
• Participate in interviewing and selection.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure compliance.
• Help cultivate a Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
