Bay Area Harness is launching a quick-turn wire harness and cable assembly shop in San Jose. You will build harnesses from drawings and customer sketches, inspect to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, and help set up the shop floor.

You’ll also train junior technicians as the team grows, with room to advance into lead or supervisor roles in a growing, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS certification or higher.
• 2+ years of wire harness or cable assembly experience.
• Comfort reading drawings and wire lists, with strong attention to detail.

Bay Area Harness is standing up a new quick-turn wire harness and cable assembly shop in San Jose. This facility will build custom harnesses for hardware startups and equipment builders, and will compete on speed and quality. As our first technician, you’ll help shape how the shop runs from day one.

What you’ll do

• Build custom harnesses and cable assemblies from drawings, wire lists, and customer sketches.
• Inspect and test your work to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Help set up the shop’s workstations, tooling, and work instructions.
• Train and support future technicians as we grow.
