Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Lead Windows Desktop Engineer to support our government customer in Washington, DC. The role is onsite five days/week in downtown DC, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Responsibilities include overseeing endpoint management, patching, encryption, automation, and using PowerShell, SCCM/MECM, and Intune to optimize desktop processes.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5-8+ years' experience as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee endpoint management and IT workflows for end-user experience.
• Lead patch management, software deployment, encryption, and automation activities.
• Ensure patches are tested for functionality and conflicts with infrastructure.
