Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification plus five years' manufacturing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing policies, procedures and practices.
• Advanced mechanical/technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading manufacturing drawings/specifications and blueprints.
• Developed math and geometry skills.
• Advanced knowledge of safety procedures and policies.
• Basic computer skills; Windows apps and/or CNC software.
• Knowledge and use of basic industrial measuring tools.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform mechanical assembly, setup and installation.
• Ability to operate powered equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform senior winder duties and related manufacturing tasks.
• Maintain workflow and ensure availability of materials and tools.
• Guide and coordinate work teams; communicate directions clearly.
• Provide training and cross-training to employees as needed.
• Assist in solving problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Read and interpret prints and work instructions; ensure quality compliance.
• Move, handle and store materials safely; follow safety procedures.
• Perform TPM, preventative maintenance and 6S within the facility.
