Qualifications

• Associate degree in technical field or vocational certification with five years manufacturing experience, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing policies and practices for transformer operations.
• Advanced mechanical/technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications and work instructions.
• Developed math and geometry skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and business systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform senior manufacturing technician duties as needed and support workflow.
• Coordinate teams, assign tasks, and adjust to meet schedules.
• Ensure quality criteria are inspected, verified and documented.
• Conduct on-the-job training and cross-training for employees.
• Interpret complex prints and work instructions to technicians.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (cranes, forklifts).
• Follow 6S and safety rules; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist supervisor with problem solving and corrective actions.
• Complete daily manufacturing sheets and paperwork per procedures.
