Job summary
NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a reliability engineer for the Wind Reliability team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will optimize wind turbine performance, increase reliability, and reduce costs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in engineering, strong analytical skills, and experience with FMEA/FTA, Python, and PowerBI. Travel to project sites and climbing wind turbines (>350 ft) may be required.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
- 4+ years in engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis.
- Experience with Python and PowerBI.
- Experience with reliability tools such as FMEA/FTA.
- Willingness to travel and climb wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
- Develop predictive maintenance programs.
- Analyze equipment data and build models to predict failures.
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor teammates and support continuous improvement projects.
