Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Wet Coat Paint Line Manager in Cassopolis, MI to lead a multi-shift paint line and drive quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement.

You will supervise 12–15 operators per shift, develop processes, monitor paint quality and yield, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Scheduling to resolve issues and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a paint line environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of wet coat paint applications and curing processes.
• Familiarity with paint chemistry, viscosity, and environmental compliance.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the wet coat paint line across multiple shifts.
• Meet daily production schedules and quality standards.
• Improve first-pass yield and defect reduction.
• Supervise and train shift leads and operators.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Scheduling.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Maintain safety, environmental controls, and SOPs.
• Analyze production data and report metrics to leadership.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Foster accountability, high performance, and teamwork.
