Job summary

Postle Extrusion in Cassopolis, MI seeks a 2nd Shift Paint Supervisor to lead the wet coat paint team, ensuring safe operation and on-time production. The role requires guiding team members, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating with maintenance and planning to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate will be able to learn and grow with the company, with training provided. Bilinguals are a plus, and overtime/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a safety-first team in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience guiding a paint/coat line is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety processes and conduct monthly safety reviews.
• Motivate the team to pursue continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Coach, develop, and train team members.
• Communicate production requirements to the crew and monitor goals.
• Ensure department meets production targets and quality standards.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and planning teams.
• Follow directions and complete tasks reliably.
• Enforce company policies consistently.
