Job summary

C & H Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Welder to oversee welding operations, mentor the welding team, and support fabrication on custom industrial projects. The role is based in Ault, Colorado, with a diverse workload across solids control, fabrication, welding, trucking, and engineering services.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of welding experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work in indoor and outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years welding experience, proven leadership in a welding team.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience mentoring and training welders; able to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding operations and mentor the welding team on projects.
• Read blueprints, plan processes, and ensure accurate welding and assembly.
• Safely perform MIG, TIG, and STICK welding; operate plasma cutting where needed.
• Train staff on welding techniques and inspect workmanship for quality.
• Coordinate with CAD designer and assist with estimates and job walks.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and inventory; dispatch crew as needed.
