Job summary

Life Fitness in Ramsey, MN is seeking an experienced MIG/Pulse Welder to support the Weld area, lead a small team, and help ensure safety, productivity and quality. The role requires reading prints, operating all weld equipment, and performing Oracle transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of MIG/Pulse welding experience and prior leadership exposure. Overtime eligibility and a second shift with a $2.00/hr differential are available as part of a comprehensive

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years MIG/Pulse welding experience.
Life Fitness–specific welding experience preferred.
Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Train and direct the work of department employees in responsibilities and safe working procedures.
Perform welding functions, set-up and operate all department equipment as needed.
Promote adherence to the production schedule to maintain inventory levels.
Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner; perform Oracle transactions.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments as needed; report shortages, quality issues, safety hazards, incidents, and performance concerns.
Operate forklift, hoist and pallet jack.
