Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking an experienced babysitter (Lead babysitter) to provide care for children aged 3 months through 11 years, primarily on weekend mornings, with a flexible schedule. Under the AD of Family Programming, you will supervise check-ins, lead activities, ensure safety, and support positive interactions in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience with children ages 3 months to 11 years.
• CPR/AED and first aid certified or willing to be trained.
• Flexible, mature and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily check-in procedures and online reservations.
• Ensure children’s safety and adherence to rules.
• Create a dynamic play space and guide children to activities.
• Facilitate arts & crafts for older children as needed.
• Support positive social interactions and cooperative play.
• Monitor children during indoor play.
• Communicate safety concerns with caregivers and staff as appropriate.
• Follow safety and licensing standards.
