Job summary

JCC Greater Boston seeks an experienced lead babysitter for a program serving infants to school-age children. This part-time role features weekend morning shifts and a flexible schedule, with 2–8 hours per week and $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

You will supervise, engage, and educate children while upholding safety policies and positive interactions with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Has prior experience working with children aged 3 months to 11 years.
• CPR/AED and first aid certification required or willing to be trained.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and energy in childcare.
• Ability to log hours on Paylocity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily check-in procedures and online reservations.
• Provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment with activities.
• Supervise and redirect children as needed to support safety.
• Implement educational activities and creative play.
• Monitor children during indoor play and report concerns.
• Communicate needs or concerns with caregivers and staff.
