Job summary

Horizon3 is a fully remote cybersecurity company building the NodeZero platform to perform autonomous pentests and ensure coverage across diverse environments. You will lead a team of engineers focused on web application discovery, crawling, and surface enumeration, guiding technical direction and quality.

The role emphasizes mentoring, scaling the team, and aligning discovery capabilities with product needs, including collaboration with Webapp Pen Testing and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years leading engineering, security, or offensive security teams.
• Experience managing teams of 4–8+ engineers; scaling as needed.
• Solid understanding of modern web app structure, routing, authentication, APIs, and surfaces.
• Hands-on experience with web crawling, browser automation, or discovery tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers focusing on web application discovery, crawling, and surface enumeration.
• Set technical direction, standards, and quality expectations for deliverables.
• Mentor engineers and drive coverage completeness and framework breadth.
