Job summary

Pathstone in Rochester, NY seeks a hands-on Weatherization Coordinator to supervise on-site crew activities and ensure completion of energy retrofit projects under the Weatherization Assistance Program. The position involves daily field work, material planning, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED plus 1+ years in home construction, remodeling/repair, energy conservation, HVAC, or 2+ years in Weatherization with on-site oversight.
• Knowledge of residential building systems and energy conservation products, installation methods and energy methods.
• Familiarity with Weatherization Assistance Program guidelines and procedures; NYS Weatherization Boot Camp training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Weatherization crew activities on job sites to ensure program compliance and project completion.
• Evaluate job scope and prepare crews, materials, and work areas as needed.
• Provide oversight and training on diagnostic home performance testing to crew members.
• Provide oversight and training on paperwork and reporting processes to crew members.
• Maintain workshop areas, inventory, vehicles and equipment.
• Handle and install energy conservation products per manufacturer and program specs.
• Operate power and manual tools and diagnostic equipment such as Blower Door and Combustion Analyzer.
