Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 3 years related experience.
• Texas Class A CDL with tanker and air brake endorsements.
• Class C Groundwater/Distribution License and Class C Wastewater License (TCEQ).
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain water distribution and wastewater collection lines, manholes, meters, valves, hydrants.
• Operate wastewater collection line cleaning and inspection equipment for maintenance and emergencies.
• Install water and sewer service connections.
• Identify system defects and structural failures.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, machinery, and tools.
• Maintain utility easements and rights of way.
• Prepare work orders and reports using CMMS.
• Lead and supervise crew tasks and evaluate performance.
• Conduct on-the-job safety training for crew members.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
