Ardurra in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, design and possibly manage water and wastewater projects for municipal clients. The role focuses on technical design and hydraulic modeling, with opportunities to lead teams of engineers, EITs, CAD technicians, and consultants.

The successful candidate will develop designs for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations and storage, coordinate with internal departments and sub-consultants, and meet with clients to support business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (required).
• 4+ years of water/wastewater design, permitting, and construction experience.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and regulators.
• Ability to lead a team of engineers, EITs, and CAD technicians.
• Familiarity with local permitting processes.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Create, calibrate, modify and interpret hydraulic models for water and wastewater systems.
• Assist Project Managers with daily/weekly allocation of junior staff on active projects.
• Prepare and review technical engineering specifications and cost estimates.
• Meet with clients and contribute to business development.
