Job summary

HRG is seeking a Lead Process Engineer in Water & Wastewater to join our King of Prussia, PA office. The role focuses on leading design efforts, developing process models, and coordinating with project teams to deliver municipal and private water/wastewater solutions.

You will act as the primary technical resource, mentoring staff and supporting growth across our environment practice, with opportunities to advance within a nationally recognized firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology with an environmental emphasis.
• Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania or reciprocity within six months of hire.
• Minimum 10 years of project experience in water and wastewater design.
• Proven experience leading project design teams.
• Expertise in computer modeling of water and wastewater processes and regulations (PADEP/EPA).
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meetings, and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel to sites and overnight stays; valid US driver’s license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Execute and lead the design process of water and wastewater treatment systems for clients.
• Develop process models, calculations, and design of equipment.
• Evaluate water/wastewater quality; create process design drawings.
• Develop PFDs, material balances, piping & instrumentation diagrams.
• Perform process calculations for operation of equipment and processes.
• Prepare procurement specs and construction documents; conduct QA checks.
• Coordinate design with site, construction personnel, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project management and other team members.
