Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lead Distribution & Collection Operator in Pembroke Pines, FL to lead a team responsible for water and wastewater systems. The role demands a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement, FDEP Class 3 Dist Operator license, FWPCOA Class C Collections license, and extensive field maintenance experience.

You will supervise crews, monitor work orders, and ensure safety, permitting, and documentation. Travel to client sites is routine; a valid driving record is required.

Qualifications

• CDL with tanker endorsement required.
• FDEP Class 3 Distribution Operator License required.
• FWPCOA Class C Collections License required.
• Experience in maintenance of water/wastewater distributions systems.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-task plans and hazards analyses to ensure team safety.
• Supervise and train personnel at work sites and assign tasks.
• Respond to and close work orders; inspect sites; ensure safety, permitting and recordkeeping.
