Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Data Center - Principal Process Engineer to lead the process design throughout the lifecycle of projects, from initial bids to commissioning of full-scale facilities. Technologies include multimedia filters, activated carbon, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, UV and electrodeionization.

The position requires a degree in engineering and a minimum of seven years in the water industry, with strong English communication and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, civil or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a process engineer in the water industry.
• Experience with membrane filtration treatment is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary design of water treatment plants based on projections and calculations.
• Collaborate with sales managers and engineering discipline teams.
• Prepare budgets, preliminary and final cost estimates including BOMs and controls.
• Prepare formal proposals for submittal to potential clients.
• Develop drawings of equipment and plant layouts and oversee designers.
• Create process drawings such as P&IDs and PFDs.
• Select equipment (pumps, valves, membranes, etc.).
• Travel to project sites for process audits and client meetings.
