Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2–4 years experience or training in wastewater/water treatment preferred.
• Class II operator license required or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pumps, blowers, motors, screens, chemical feed systems and lab equipment.
• Collect samples and monitor lab data; log results and maintain monthly reports.
• Adjust chemical dosages and manage sludge to meet permit limits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on plant equipment.
• Respond to operational issues and coordinate with supervision for repairs.
