Job summary

Woodard & Curran is hiring a Lead Water Treatment Operator for the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. You will mentor a junior operator and oversee daily operations of a three-train plant, each 670 gpm, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Ideal candidates hold a NH Grade 3T license (or 3T OIT) with 5+ years of experience, proficient in SCADA and CMMS tools, and willing to participate in rotating shifts and on-call duties. Comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Massachusetts Grade 3T preferred, 3T OIT accepted with ability to achieve Full status.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
• Proficiency with SCADA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Maintenance Management Programs, and other site specific systems.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work safely.
• Background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water treatment plant processes and equipment manually and via SCADA; adjust operations as needed.
• Monitor remote pump stations with inspections and daily sampling.
• Conduct water quality sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with standards.
• Operate, maintain, and repair plant equipment; manage flow through treatment and distribution.
• Utilize maintenance work order software and keep records up to date.
• Coordinate to ensure safety and administrative policies are followed.
• Oversee operation of treatment, mechanical, and electrical equipment and keep on-site logs.
• Generate data and reports for Monthly Operating Report.
