NJ Department of Environmental Protection, Water Resource Management, Marine Water Monitoring, Leeds Point, NJ, seeks an Environmental Technician Supervisor to plan and supervise field and office work related to water resources. The position involves data collection, sample analysis, vessel operation, and staff coordination.

Under supervision, you will oversee sampling, data recording, equipment maintenance, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in field inspections, investigations, and surveys; operating collection, measuring, recording, or testing equipment.
• College credits in natural, chemical, environmental, biological or engineering sciences may substitute for experience (2 years max).
• All degrees/transcripts must be from an accredited institution; foreign degrees require evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise field and office work related to water resources and environmental investigations.
• Supervise staff, prepare performance evaluations, and ensure data collection accuracy.
• Oversee vessel operation, sampling methods, data recording, and equipment maintenance.
